Amy’s Reflexology & Bodywork

Would you like to give your hard working feet a break? Do you enjoy feeling renewed and relaxed? Well, reflexology may just be the thing for you. Reflexology is the application of steady, even pressure to the feet with the primary goal of achieving deep relaxation. Some of the benefits of deep relaxation include improving your overall sense of well-being and alleviating many of the effects of stress, such as “dis-ease” of the body, mind, and sole. I am happy to travel to your home, assisted living center or business. Most of my modalities are clothed and I specialize in elder care, medically frail clients and reflexology.

My specialty is therapeutic and comfort touch modalities designed to relax the body without placing demands on an already taxed system. These techniques are relaxing for all ages and physical conditions but are especially suited for those dealing with pain and medical conditions.

Not all people or conditions are the same. Each session is tailored to the safety and goals of the individual client. What does this mean to you? I will make adjustments to massage elements and reflexology techniques according to your health concerns, safety, and preferences. Occasionally, I will use Deep Tissue Sculpting and Trigger point techniques if called for and safe. However, deep tissue is not my primary technique and my personal philosophy is to coerce not bulldoze the muscles.
